Scope
This part of YY/T 0905 applies to dental air compressor systems. This section gives the performance and test methods of compressor units used to provide a source of compressed air to dental treatment machines, dental instruments and dental laboratories. The compressor unit includes the compressor head, air storage tank, air dryer system, condensate valve, pressure switch, valves, pipes, and accessories. This section also provides guidance on the environmental regulations and management of compressor units such as dental air, fittings, piping and valves. This section only applies to the portion of the compressed air main line up to the connection point.
