Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, type inspection rules, markings, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of disposable skin staplers. This standard applies to disposable skin staplers (hereinafter referred to as "skin staplers") used for suturing incised skin epidermal tissue during surgical operations.
