Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for dust explosion protection in plastic production systems. This standard is applicable to: production systems that use olefin gas as raw material and the main process is to obtain plastic powder through polymerization reaction and plastic granular material through granulation; use plastic, synthetic polymer powder or granular material as raw material, A production system that produces and processes plastic products through processes such as melting and injection molding, including waste plastic recycling and processing production systems. This standard does not apply to plastic powder spraying processes.
