Scope
This standard specifies the requirements and test methods for hull tightness testing of sea-going steel ships. This standard is applicable to hull tightness tests performed on sea-going steel ships during design, manufacture, repair or periodic inspection. It is not applicable to tightness tests on semi-submersible and deep-submersible work ships.
