本标准规定了船用中速柴油机齿轮箱的术语和定义、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存。
本标准适用于与中速柴油机匹配的传递能力不小于0.6 kW/(r.min-1)的船用齿轮箱，其他传递能力低于0.6 kW/(r.min-1)的船用齿轮箱可参照采用本标准。典型产品的技术参数见附录A。

Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of marine medium-speed diesel engine gearboxes (hereinafter referred to as "gearboxes"). This standard is applicable to marine gearboxes with a transmission capacity of not less than 0.6 kW/(r.min) matched with medium-speed diesel engines. Other marine gearboxes with a transmission capacity lower than 0.6kW/(r.min) may refer to this standard. See Appendix A for the technical parameters of typical products.
