Scope
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of flanged tanker gate valves (hereinafter referred to as gate valves) whose flange connection dimensions and sealing surfaces are in accordance with GB/T 569 and GB/T 2501. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of gate valves whose media are crude oil, refined oil, seawater, fresh water, cargo oil systems and stripping systems.
