Scope

This standard specifies the scope, marking and parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of marine horizontal centrifugal pumps (hereinafter referred to as pumps). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of marine horizontal centrifugal pumps driven by motors and with a conveying medium temperature not exceeding 75°C.
