Scope

This standard specifies the structural type and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of threaded pipes for marine auxiliary boilers (hereinafter referred to as threaded pipes). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of threaded pipes for marine auxiliary boilers with a design pressure not greater than 2.5 MPa and a medium of water or saturated steam.
