Scope

This standard specifies the strength calculation and thermal calculation methods for marine oil coolers, fresh water coolers, steam condensers, fuel heaters, oil heaters, and fresh water heaters. This standard applies to shell and tube heat exchangers with design pressure not exceeding 3.0 MPa and medium temperature not exceeding 250°C.
