Scope
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of Class J flange bronze 0.5MPa packing cocks (hereinafter referred to as cocks) with flange connection dimensions according to JIS B2240-1996. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of cocks for ship piping systems with seawater, fresh water, lubricating oil, fuel and other media.
