Scope
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of Class J bronze 1.6MPa cocks (hereinafter referred to as cocks) with flange connection dimensions according to JIS F7440. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of cocks for ship piping systems for steam, fresh water, fuel, lubricating oil and other media.
