Introduction
Standard Evolution and Background Analysis
This standard integrates three independent standards from the 1980s (CBM 1067-1981, CBM 1105-1982, CBM 1106-1982). The main technical upgrades include:
| Improvement dimensions | Old standard | New standard |
|---|---|---|
| Product type | Separate oil tank/water tank | Merge A/B type |
| Specification range | DN≤250mm | Extended to DN450mm |
| Test method | Single seal test | Add impact test |
Core parameter analysis
Product classification system
Comparison of characteristics of four types:
- JA type (cap type): basic protection type, suitable for oil/water/empty tanks
- JB type (gooseneck type): with float structure, surge protection design
- JC type (for depth sounding): multi-functional integrated design
- JD type (buoy type): dedicated for large-size oil tanks (DN450)
Key technical requirements
Sealing performance indicators
The new standard proposes dual test requirements for JB/JD type:
| Test conditions | Immersion speed | Holding time | Allow leakage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Conventional test | 4m/min | Instant | ≤DN×2mL |
| Intensified test | 8m/min | 5 minutes |
Note:It needs to be tested in the upright position and 40° tilted state
Material and manufacturing specifications
Material selection for key components
- Main body material: cast steel (ZG200-400C)/ductile iron (QT400-15)
- Float assembly: 06Cr19Ni10 stainless steel (GB/T 3280)
- Seal material: Nitrile rubber F6364 (oil resistant)
For castings, 3 test bars with furnace numbers are required for each furnace, and the shelf life is ≥3 years
Implementation recommendations
Selection and application guide
- For oil tanks, JDY type float type is preferred, and DN≥150mm must be used
- Cast steel body is selected for corrosive environment, and ductile iron can be used in cost-sensitive scenarios
- Pay attention to the matching of flange surface and JIS B2220/B2239 during installation
Special Tips: After the implementation of the new standard, the original CBM standard related design documents need to be updated synchronously
