Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of marine welded copper flanges (hereinafter referred to as flanges). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of flanges for ship pipelines with nominal pressures not greater than 4.0MPa and operating temperatures not higher than 250°C.
