Scope
This standard specifies the classification, design criteria, design methods, design verification items and requirements for shipbuilding gantry cranes (hereinafter referred to as cranes) with a rated lifting capacity of not less than 100t and a span of not less than 40m. This standard applies to the design of cranes.
