1.0.1 This specification is formulated within a view to adapting to the development of urban road lighting engineering, guaranteeing the construction quality of street lighting engineering, promoting technological progress and ensuring the safe and economical operation of lighting facilities
1.0.2 This specification is applicable to the installation of urban road lighting facilities at 10 kV or below as well as the construction and acceptance of overhead lines and low-voltage cabling engineering.
1.0.3 The apparatuses for urban road lighting as well as their transport and storage shall meet the relevant requirements of “Code for Construction and Acceptance of 35kV and Under Over-head Power Levels Electric Equipment Installation Engineering” (GB 50173); where the products have special requirements, it shall also meet the requirements of relevant technical documents.
1.0.4 The apparatus and equipment shall be checked in accordance with the following requirements:
1 The technical documents shall be complete.
2 The model, specification and appearance quality shall meet the design requirements and the requirements of this specification.
1.0.5 The construction and acceptance of urban road lighting engineering shall not only comply with this specification, but also meet the requirements of relevant national current compulsory standards.
