Scope

This standard specifies the use of gas chromatographic analysis for the determination of trichlorfon, dichlorvos, dimethoate, parathion, and methyl parathion in urban water supplies. This standard is applicable to the determination of trichlorfon, dichlorvos, dimethoate, parathion, and methyl parathion in urban water supplies and water sources. The minimum detection mass concentration of this standard method: if the sample is 100mL concentrated to 1.0mL, the injection volume is 2μL, trichlorfon is 0.14μg/L, dichlorvos is 0.43μ/L, dimethoate is 0.29μg/L, methyl p- Thion is 0.24μg/L and parathion is 0.10μg/L.
