Key technical requirements

Material properties

The raw materials must be PE80 or PE100 mixed materials, with a carbon black content of (2.5±0.5)%, a melt flow rate of 0.2-1.1g/10min, and an oxidation induction time of ≥20min (200℃).

Pipe series selection

Siphon rainwater system must use S12.5 series pipes with "BD" markings, with a ring stiffness of ≥8kN/m² and a vacuum test pressure of -0.08MPa.


Implementation suggestions

  1. Pipes should be stored away from direct sunlight, and the stacking height should be ≤1.5m
  2. The working voltage of electric fusion pipe fittings is 220V±15V, and a special welding machine is required
  3. After the system is installed, temperature rise resistance cycle (1500 times) and water tightness test are required

Technology evolution analysis

This standard is not equivalent to ISO 8770:2003, and the main differences are: the connection method focuses on butt welding/electric fusion (socket joints are limited to expansion joints), the application scope is extended to siphon rainwater systems, and the PE100 material grade requirement is added.
