Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural types, product models, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of directly buried gate valves for water supply and drainage (hereinafter referred to as gate valves). This standard applies to water supply and drainage valve gates with nominal dimensions DN50 to DN600, nominal pressures PN10 to PN25, made of ductile iron, and directly buried underneath.
