Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural types, models, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, packaging, storage and transportation of butterfly slow-closing check valves (hereinafter referred to as check valves). This standard is applicable to check valves with nominal sizes DN300~DN2000, nominal pressure not greater than PN16, medium is water, water temperature not greater than 55°C, used to prevent destructive water hammer when stopping the pump and control the reverse speed of the water pump.
