Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural type, product model, parts materials and structure, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of piston large flow drain valves. This standard applies to piston-type large-flow blowdown valves with nominal sizes DN80 to DN400, nominal pressure less than or equal to PN10, piston-driven, used in water supply and drainage systems to remove sludge and other sediments deposited at the bottom of the pool.
