Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of urban water supply water measurement instruments (hereinafter referred to as "water meters"), water meter selection, water meter configuration, water meter installation, water meter detection and management requirements. This standard applies to the equipment and management of water meters for urban water supply units and water use units.
