Scope

This document specifies the energy efficiency evaluation indicators, test and calculation methods, result application and energy-saving measures for the operation of aluminum and aluminum alloy melting and holding furnaces. This document is applicable to the energy-saving operation evaluation of melting and holding furnaces heated by gas and liquid fuels. This document is not applicable to the energy-saving operation evaluation of solid fuel heating and collapsed melting and holding furnaces.
