Scope

This standard specifies the measurement method of audible noise in high-voltage AC substations (hereinafter referred to as substations). This standard is applicable to the measurement of audible noise from main noise sources (main transformers, reactors, ventilation fans, etc.) of AC substations with voltage levels of 35kV and above, workplaces and substation boundaries.
