Scope

This standard stipulates the basic principles that should be followed in the operation and maintenance of transformers and the processes, methods, quality standards, etc. that should be followed in maintenance. This standard is applicable to transformers used for electrical measurement, electric energy metering, relay protection, automatic devices, etc. and also used for carrier communication in power systems with AC voltage levels of 0.38kV~750kV, including oil-immersed insulation, SF gas insulation, and synthetic film insulation. And resin cast current transformers, electromagnetic voltage transformers and capacitive voltage transformers. The operation and maintenance of imported foreign instrument transformers should be based on the technical terms of the order contract and the manufacturer's regulations, and should be implemented with reference to the requirements of this standard.
