Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for the application of PROFIBUS fieldbus technology in thermal power plants in terms of design, configuration, installation, debugging, documentation and acceptance. This standard applies to unit units and auxiliary workshop control systems that apply PROFIBUS DP and PROFIBUS PA technology in thermal power plants. This standard does not apply to PROFIBUS wireless transmission and PROFISafe applications.
