Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of infrared spectroscopy of sulfur hexafluoride (SF) gas decomposition products in electrical equipment. This standard applies to SF gas decomposition products in the laboratory: sulfur dioxide (SO), thionyl fluoride (SOF), sulfuryl fluoride (SOF), sulfuryl tetrafluoride (SOF), carbon tetrafluoride (CF) , carbon monoxide (CO) and other component contents are determined by infrared spectroscopy.
