Introduction

Background of Standard Revision and Technology Evolution

This revision is based on the current status of secondary equipment technology development of smart substations, focusing on solving the three major problems found in the implementation of the 2016 version of the standard: unclear functional positioning, lack of data layer processing, and scattered visual display. The new version of the standard deletes non-core content such as status assessment, and adds protection action analysis and operation inspection function modules.

Key technical requirements

Virtual circuit visualization case

Taking the process layer switch as an example, the new standard requires the following:

  1. Display of virtual terminal connection relationships parsed by SCD files
  2. Mapping relationship between physical ports and logical links
  3. Real-time alarm positioning of abnormal communication

Implementation suggestions

It is recommended to advance in three stages:

  • Phase I: Complete basic information access of protection devices
  • Phase II: Realize secondary circuit topology reconstruction
  • Phase III: Establish an intelligent diagnosis knowledge base

Special attention should be paid to the coordinated implementation with DL/T 860, GB/T 32901 and other standards.
