DL/T 403-2017 High-voltage alternating-current vacuum circuit-breaker

1 General

1.1 Scope

Subclause 1.1 of DL/T 402-2016 is applicable with the following addition:

This standard specifies the general requirements for high-voltage AC vacuum circuit-breakers (hereinafter referred to as vacuum circuit-breakers) with a rated voltage of 3.6 kV and above and a rated frequency of 50 Hz, including service conditions, ratings, design and construction, type tests, routine tests, guidance to the selection, transport and storage, safety, and influence on the environment.

2 Normal and special service conditions

Clause 2 of DL/T 593-2016 is applicable.

3 Terms and definitions

Clause 3 of DL/T 402-2016 is applicable with the following addition.

3.101
permitted storage period
minimum duration from the time when the vacuum circuit-breaker leaves the manufacturer to the time it is put into operation, during which its comprehensive technical indicators may not meet the specified values, yet it shall meet the technical indicators specified in DL/T 402-2016 and this standard as well as the enterprise standard (or technical specifications) for the product

Note: The permitted storage period of vacuum circuit-breakers is mainly controlled by corrosion and aging of vacuum interrupters, controllers, and structural components.

3.102
opening rebound
maximum distance the moving contact travels from the open position to the static contact during the opening operation

3.103
closing bounce time
duration from the initial contact between the contacts to the point when they establish a stable connection

3.104
overtravel
distance traveled by the moving contact component after generating the closing force upon contact

3.105
embedded pole
individual component made up by encapsulating a vacuum interrupter, or a vacuum interrupter, together with the conductive connections and/or terminals in solid insulating material
