1 Scope
This standard specifies the service conditions, parameters, structures, technical requirements and test items of HV vacuum circuit-breakers.
This standard is applicable to three-phase and single-phase HV vacuum circuit-breakers (hereinafter referred to as vacuum circuit-breakers) with rated voltage 12kV~40.5kV and frequency 50Hz and their fitted vacuum interrupters (hereinafter referred to as interrupters, also called switching tubes).This product is mainly used for the protection and control in the power plant, AC distribution system and transformer substation as well as such locations as transformer substations of industrial and mining enterprises.
Note: The generator circuit-breaker shall not be included.
