Introduction

Core changes in the standard revision

Technical elements 2005 edition 2020 edition Update points
Treatment methods 8 categories 12 categories Four new processes including vacuum-surcharge combined preloading and CFG piles
Chapter structure Mixed arrangement Four-stage standardization Uniformly reconstructed according to "general provisions-design-construction-inspection"
Testing requirements Appendix scattered Independent chapter New chapter 14.6 Inspection and monitoring

Analysis of key technical points

1. Vacuum-loading combined preloading method

Article 5.2.4 of the regulations clearly states: The vacuum pressure should be maintained at 80kPa or above, the loading capacity should be determined by calculation, and the superposition time of the two should not be less than 30 days. Engineering applications show that this method can reduce the moisture content of soft soil by 15-25%.

2. Cement fly ash gravel pile (CFG pile)

Chapter 9 stipulates that the pile strength should be ≥C15, the pile diameter should be 400-600mm, and the pile spacing should be controlled to 3-5 times the pile diameter. A converter station project in East China adopted this process, and the foundation bearing capacity was increased from 120kPa to 280kPa.

3. High-pressure jetting method is an independent chapter

The jetting process, which was originally a grouting method, is now listed in a separate chapter 11, clarifying the construction parameters of the triple tube method: water pressure ≥35MPa, slurry pressure ≥20MPa, and the lifting speed is controlled to 5-15cm/min.

Implementation suggestions

  1. Process selection matrix:
    Geological conditionsRecommended processBearing capacity improvement
    Soft soil foundationVacuum-loading combined preloading150-250%
    Fill foundationDynamic compaction method200-300%
  2. Key points for quality control: The original body test must include 3 groups of comparative tests, and the detection frequency is increased by 30%
  3. Environmental protection measures: Cement mixing method construction must be equipped with dust recovery device

Standard application cases

This standard is applied in a ±800kV UHV converter station project:

  • CFG piles are used for composite foundation treatment at a depth of 18m
  • After 150 days of vacuum-loading combined preloading, the settlement was reduced from the estimated 450mm to 210mm
  • The pile spacing was optimized through prototype testing, saving 12%
  • of project cost
