Scope
This standard specifies the design requirements for power system synchronous digital series optical cable transmission systems, power special optical cable line design, and optical fiber communication station design. This standard is applicable to the design of new SDH trunk optical cable communication work. The design of reconstruction, expansion and branch line SDH optical cable communication projects can be implemented with reference to this standard. This standard is applicable to the design of special optical cable communication projects such as optical fiber composite overhead ground wires (OPGW) laid on overhead transmission lines, non-metallic self-supporting optical cables (ADSS) attached to overhead transmission lines.
