Scope

Carrier communication is an important part of the power system's dedicated communication network. This procedure applies to the operation, maintenance and management of carrier communication circuits such as power lines (including insulated overhead ground wires and phase-split conductors), open wires, cables, etc. Power line carrier communication is a unique communication method for power systems. It has the advantages of high reliability, low investment, and convenient construction, and must be fully utilized. The purpose of formulating this procedure is to use professional technical means to improve the operation and management level of carrier communications, ensure that the performance of operating equipment and circuits meets technical standards, and provide a stable and reliable information transmission channel for power grid management, power dispatching, enterprise management, and system automation. .
