Scope
This standard specifies the ultrasonic testing methods and grade assessment of test results for hot extrusion, forged tees and elbows in service. This standard is applicable to manual A-type pulse reflection ultrasonic testing of tees and elbows with an outer diameter of not less than φ219m and a wall thickness of 20mm~160mm and a thickness-to-diameter ratio not greater than 0.23. Other hot extrusion and forged tees and elbows are tested. Please refer to this standard.
