Scope

This standard specifies methods for dissolution of samples of fly ash produced from coal-fired power plants and atomic absorption spectrophotometry for the analysis of arsenic, pot, ash, copper, nickel, lead and zinc. This standard is applicable to the dissolution of samples of fly ash produced by coal-fired power plants and the analysis of arsenic, potassium, chromium, copper, nickel, lead, and zinc elements by atomic absorption spectrophotometry.
