Scope

This standard specifies the technical and economic evaluation method for analyzing and comparing the energy efficiency of distribution transformers. This standard applies to single-phase and three-phase dry-type and oil-immersed distribution transformers of 35kV and below. This standard does not apply to traction transformers, test transformers, grounding transformers and modified transformers.
