Scope

This standard specifies the macro-type description method and content of drilled bituminous coal and soft lignite coal cores, preliminary division of coal facies, terminology coding, coal rock and coal facies columnar trap preparation format and legends. This standard is applicable to the macroscopic description of drilled bituminous coal, soft lignite, hard lignite, and anthracite. The macroscopic description of outcrops and tunnel coal seams can also be used as a reference.
