Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of silicic acid using the silicon molybdenum blue colorimetric method. This standard is applicable to the determination of soluble silicic acid content in groundwater that can react with ammonium molybdate. The measurement results are expressed in the form of metasilicic acid. The minimum detection volume is 3.Oug, and the optimal concentration range is 0.06~20mg/L.
