This standard specifies the test methods for the physical and mechanical properties of special industrial strands (including strands of cotton fiber, silk fiber, hemp fiber and chemical fiber). This standard is applicable to the testing of general special industrial strands. If there are other special requirements for special industrial strands, they should be stipulated in the standard of the product or separately agreed between the supplier and the buyer.
