Analysis of key technical points

Napping process control

The standard strictly stipulates the test method for the amount of lint removed: use a washing color fastness tester at 45℃, wash at 40r/min for 45 minutes, and collect the shed lint through a sand core funnel. The lint removal amount for superior products is ≤20mg/100cm², which is equivalent to no more than 200mg of lint per square meter.

Color fastness grading system

According to GB/T4841.3, colors are divided into dark colors (＞1/12 standard depth) and light colors (≤1/12 standard depth), among which: Color fastness to wet rubbing requires level 3 for dark colors, and level 3-4 for light colors; Color fastness to light requires level 4 for dark colors, and level 3 for light colors.

Implementation and application suggestions

Raw material control: Silk content detection should preferably adopt FZ/T40005 chemical method, and mixed fiber is recommended to combine FZ/T01026 multi-component analysis method
Production process: After the napping process, three pre-shrinkage treatments are required to ensure that the dimensional stability meets the standard
Testing notes: When testing the amount of lint removal, 50 steel balls with a diameter of 6mm should be used as the friction medium

Background of standard evolution

This standard regulates lint-type silk products separately for the first time, and establishes quantitative indicators for the problems of lint shedding and dimensional instability that are prone to occur in traditional scarves. Compared with GB/T15551-2016 "Silk Scarves", special requirements such as dry cleaning size change rate and lint removal have been added.
