Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for para-aramid (1414) filament. This standard is applicable to para-aramid (1414) filaments with a total line density of 222 dtex ~ 3 330 dtex, a single filament line density of 1.26 dtex ~ 3.33 dtex, and a circular cross-section.
