Scope

This standard specifies the basic parameters and types, technical requirements, test methods, and inspection rules of the needle bed of flat knitting machines. This standard is applicable to needle beds for flat knitting machines and computerized flat knitting machines with a nominal width of 13 cm/5~280 cm/110 and made of cast iron or carbon structural steel. Needle beds for other flat knitting machines may also refer to this standard.
