Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and models, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for water mist guns. This standard applies to water mist guns that use water as the main spray medium for fire extinguishing purposes. This standard does not apply to water mist devices with cutting, puncture or breathing functions.
