Scope
This standard specifies the classification, model, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of fire ball valves. This standard is applicable to ball valves that transport water, foam mixture and other liquid fire extinguishing agents with a medium temperature of -40°C to 70°C. This standard does not apply to ball valves transporting gas fire extinguishing agents and dry powder fire extinguishing agents.
