Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and grading, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, random technical documents, transportation and storage of handheld video inspection instruments (hereinafter referred to as "inspection instruments"). This standard applies to handheld video inspection equipment for security purposes and is the basic basis for the design, manufacture, acceptance and use of such equipment.
