Scope
This standard specifies the type, structure, size, technical requirements and inspection rules of tire valve cores (hereinafter referred to as valve cores). This standard applies to tire valve cores for cars, trucks (including passenger cars, trailers and trolleybuses), industrial vehicles, engineering machinery, tractors, agricultural and forestry machinery, motorcycles and animal-drawn vehicles. This standard does not apply to valve cores for aviation tires.
