Scope
This standard applies to straight-run fractions of petroleum, platinum reformed raffinate or solvents obtained from reprocessing, and their components do not contain tetraethyl lead. This product is divided into six grades according to its 98% distillation temperature or dry point, and its codes are NY-70, NY-90, NY-120, NY-190, NY-200 and NY-260. (1) NY-70: Used as an extraction solvent in the fragrance, fragrance and oil industries, formerly known as fragrance flower solvent oil. (2) NY-90: Used as chemical reagents, pharmaceutical solvents, etc., formerly known as No. 90 petroleum ether. (3) NY-120: used in the rubber industry. (4) NY-190: Used as a solvent for cleaning mechanical parts and industrial and agricultural production. (5) NY-200: Used as a solvent and thinner in the paint industry. (6) NY-260: kerosene-type special solvent.
