《GB 4234-2003外科植入物用不锈钢》由464（国家药品监督管理局）归口，委托TC110（全国外科植入物和矫形器械标准化技术委员会）执行。
本标准规定了外科植入物用不锈钢尺寸、外形、重量及允许偏差、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、包装、标志及质量证明书。本标准所规定的牌号的化学成分亦适用于钢锭、钢坯及其制品。从使用本标准材料加工的最终产品中制取的试样的力学性能不必完全符合本标准规定的指标。

Scope

This standard specifies the size, shape, weight and allowable deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, signs and quality certificates of stainless steel for surgical implants. The chemical composition of the grades specified in this standard is also applicable to steel ingots, billets and their products. The mechanical properties of the samples prepared from the final products processed with the materials of this standard do not have to fully meet the indicators specified in this standard.
