Scope

This standard specifies the accuracy of cylindrical worms and worm gears. This standard applies to cylindrical worms, worm gears and transmissions with a shaft angle ∑ of 90° and a modulus m≥1mm. The diameter of the worm indexing circle d₁≤400mm, and the diameter of the worm wheel indexing circle d₂ ≤4000mm; the basic worms can be Archimedes worms (ZA worms), involute worms (ZI worms), normal straight profile worms (ZN worms), cone enveloping cylindrical worms (ZK worms) and arc cylindrical worms Worm (ZC worm).
