Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. This standard applies to liquid magnetic compasses with or without gimbals. This standard does not apply to: a) magnetic compasses with dry dials; b) compasses designed on principles different from those above or not in accordance with the given instructions.
