《GB/T 39085.2-2020船舶和海上技术 船用雷达反射器 第2部分:主动型》由TC531(全国船舶电气及电子设备标准化技术委员会)归口,主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。

Introduction

Analysis of Core Requirements of the Standard

Technical Indicators X-Band (9.3-9.5GHz) S-Band (2.9-3.1GHz)
Minimum RCS ≥7.5m² ≥0.5m²
Coverage Angle 280°Azimuth (Null Value≤10°)
Maximum Power ≤10W

Key Technical Features

The active radar reflector (RTE) achieves enhanced forwarding of radar signals through the coordinated work of the receiving antenna, amplifier and transmitting antenna. Its core advantages are:

  • Polarization compatibility: supports X-band horizontal polarization and S-band circular polarization
  • Time delay control: output pulse width ≤10ns or 10% of the original pulse
  • Anti-saturation design: can withstand continuous irradiation of 25kW radar at 30m

Environmental adaptability requirements

According to the IEC60945 standard, the equipment must pass 7 types of rigorous tests:

  1. Dry heat test (55℃)
  2. Wet heat cycle (40℃, 95%RH)
  3. Vibration test (2-13.2Hz/±1mm)
  4. Seawater corrosion test

Application case: In the test of a certain type of RTE at an elevation angle of 10°, the X-band RCS reached 21.7m², exceeding the standard requirement by 189%

Key points of installation specifications

Parameter Recommended value Limit value
Installation height ≥4m(ASL) ≥2m
Weight limit 4m height corresponds to ≤5kg
Compass safety distance ≥5m or measured CSD

Background of Standard Evolution

This part is equivalent to ISO87292:2009, responding to the radar visibility requirements of IMOMSC.164(78) resolution for ships below 150GT. Compared with passive reflectors, active solutions have significant advantages on small fiberglass ships:

  • 60% reduction in volume (≤0.05m³)
  • Azimuth blind area is reduced to within 10°
  • Stable performance under 20° rolling conditions
